I purchased a used car in 2010 from Rayco Eurospec Motorcars. I drove the car from Pennsylvania to Maryland over 300 miles to my home. A week later I had a flat tire. I took the car to have the tire repaired and was told the tire was "dry rotted". I drove the car back to Pennsylvania and have Rayco Eurospec Motorcars inspect the tire. I was told by the chief mechanic that all four tires were "dry rotted" and were very unsafe. I was afraid to drive one more mile so I had Rayco Eurocars apply 4 new tires. To my surprise the I was charged almost $500. I contacted the owner Michael Budjnoski regarding my tires expense, driving in a very unsafe car and traveling 600 miles to have this fixed. Mr. Michael Budjnoski refused to reimburse me one cent. Not even an apology. When I told him I will report him to Attorney General consumer protection email me "Do whatever you want" I never heard from him again.

To set this story straight you were given the option to have our service facility conduct a thorough evaluation of this vehicle. We offered to inspect the vehicle PRIOR to your taking delivery. You asked for a price on the car and we explained that it had NOT gone through our servicee department. You then asked for a "as-Is" price as you needed the car THAT DAY . You signed the buyers guide that stated you were buying the car "As-Is". You were offered a warranty that you also declined. Had you allowed our facility to conduct an evaluation we could have corrected any problems prior to your taking delivery. We spend hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars on automobiles to make them "Rayco Quality". You didn't want that quality. You wanted and signed for a "As-is" automobile.

Why would you drive that far to have somebody look at tires??? Are there no knowledgable people where you live? Hardly! When you asked them to replace all four, did you ask them the price before they did the work? So then, since you failed to ascertain the price prior to purchase how is this a rip off or their fault? Were the original tires covered by a warranty? Apparently not. You chose to have them replace the tires without having the slightest clue as to the cost.
