Raypak Warranty is a Complete Scam Oxnard California
I am absoltely appauled by the manner in which Raypak handles their warranty process. I purchased an electric heat pump that cost approximately $5,000 to install, and within 8 months it had competely fallen apart. Raypak claimed it was "freeze damage" and that it was not covered under their limited warranty. I had the heat pump for 8 months, properly winterized it according to the manual, but still got the "tough luck" response from every Raypak representatitve.
I made a huge investment with them and got one season out of their second rate products. They do not have the integrity to stand behind their product quality, rather sucker customers into making major purchases and then hang them out to dry when this junk falls apart. I would not recommend Raypak to any consumer as their products are of poor quality and the manner in which they handle their service is beyond disappointing.
Although they are a big name in the industry, don't be fooled.
