Letter received with a claim number anf titled Award Claim Notification - Final Notice
It goes on to say that we won $250,000 and that there is a check enclosed for $4,735.00 to help pay for the Non Resident Government Tax (GST)
Need to call Steve Johnson : 1-416-825-4206 who is our assigned agent ---
The way the scheme works is that you deposit the check and it gets bounced around to several different banks and it appears to clear. After you speak t the assigned agent he tells you to send the tax amount ($3,850.00) via Money Order.
You never hear from them and your deposit bounces, now you are, not only the Money order amount but also the bounce fees for the empty deposit!
