I recieved a letter in the mail from R>B>M> Financial Services Inc., Located in Canada. It went on to say I won $250,000.00 from a "Compensation Draw"in a sweepstakes that was held in July/2007. The letter stated I needed to cal the phone # that was given for further instructions before cashing the check. I called the # in the letter, only to get a message that the person I was trying to reach was unavailable, no answering message, or no way to leave a message, (not very professional). I knew this was too good to be true, so I looked it up on Rip-Off Report. Sure enough, plenty more people recieved the same letter. Funny thing is, the check that they sent me was from South Shore Motors Corp., in Sayville, NY. That also made me suspicious. If I won a drawing why was a company from Canada sending me a letter with a check to draw on a Motor Company in NY? It pisses me off these people are doing this and getting away with it whatever their scam is!
