RCA, Inc. (Kristina Trimbal, Patrick Kennedy) Scamming rare stamps making mythical promises of high returns and/or buy-backs Grandview Missouri
RCA is a company that is scamming many people out of thousands of dollars.
I have been dealing with 2 people (first, Patrick Kennedy, who no longer works for RCA, but more recently a woman named Kristina Trimbal). RCA (Rare Collectible Assets) - is a company that deals in rare and antique items such as coins, stamps, etc. Over a period of several years, they have pursuaded me to purchase several items (now over $10,000)always on the promise that each purchase would expotentially increase the value of my overall portfolio.
They promised to sell my stamps at some "mythical" auction (first in 2005), but then again an auction to be held in Laguna Beach, CA this November (2006). However, I could never get any details re: the location, date, or time of the November event (even though I was promised in an email from Kristine herself).
Most recently (Sept, 2006) they wanted me to buy yet another "rare" stamp to add to my collection so it could be put up for auction. I declined this last suggested purchase, but requested that they sell my stamps (as they said they would). On promise that they always make is that they will buy back the stamps for what you paid to purchase them. Sadly, I have not been able to get a response to multiple voice mail messages left on their supposedly "corporate office phone" or to email messages sent to Kristina (my new "representative").
The address on their packages that they send to customers is actually a UPS store in Grandview, MO. When I did get a hold of a person, I was told that the company' "official" address is: 12905 South 71 Highway, Suite 268 Grandview, MO 64030.
I tried locating this address using the Internet searches...but came up with nothing.
Their phone number (866) 340-2387 is never answered, but you get a recording that "..you have reached the corporate office, but all lines are busy so please leave your name and phone number.." What's so strange is that the recording NEVER mentions the company's name, or website. etc.
