Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I took my Integra to RDP Motorsport for a tune, paid $600.00 for the tuning kit (found out actual price was $400.00 from owner Dave Blundell). Car was there 3 1/2 months and every time we called for information, they told us to stop calling and they were busy! I was told the car needed repairs before performing the tune. Paid another $1,200.00. (should have got car out of there, but they already had our money)

Car did not run after that! My car ran when I brought it to RDP, just needed a tune/timed. Got a call many weeks later to pick up car. When I arrived RDP they had it on a test run. The car stalled, they brought it back by pulling it with a rope by a truck. Mechanic didn't  torque wheel & caused the wheel to fall off then later blamed it on the tool! The car was dragged causing damage. The owner told me everything would be taken care of and I owed him nothing for recent added repairs. After waiting 4 weeks, all they did was replace fender (was told was all it needed).

My car still did not run, Owner informed me car needed injectors if I wanted to get it running and would cost $100.00 for each injector or get car towed away and I would get a $1,200.00 refund, when I asked about my $600.00 he said, "I don't care". I got my car out of there!! Towed car to mechanic who found the problem within hours.

The car was towed back with a new bowling ball sized dent on the bumper & the ECU not installed properly! RDP put my distributor piece on backwards causing it to break and created damage to many expensive parts which is why the car never ran (did not need injectors). My insurance co estimated $2,000 damage minus fender due to repairs from wheel falling off.

I never got my $600.00 back & now have a huge repair bill they created. I was told the lifters were replaced which is never performed on an Acura Integra. Never got an invoice or old parts. Owner never answered my calls or returned them, When the wheel fell off, I asked for a refund on previous work, I was told that it was very "rude"! My mechanic can prove the engine damage they created while it was there all summer!! My car was treated very poorly and was their last priority.

Owner Steve Leerentveld is a very rude, unprofessional individual who charges an arm and a leg for unnecessary labor and unneeded & repeated parts. The staff is very young and inexperienced, don't let the look of the place fool you!!

My insurance company is still waiting for payment due to the damage caused from the tire falling off.  Steve refuses to pay the collection agencies.

as an update, i want to take back anything good i had to say about Tom Sewell.  This guy has no clue how to repair an engine.  The car was there for a tune, before i knew it, it needed an engine, among other things.  with the recommendation of Dave Blundell, I figured he would do a great job....wrong!! Took 7 months and the car had a blown gasket when i picked it up.  Tom refused to make it right after $4,000.00, never gave a receipt.  He kept saying "drive the car, it will learn to run right!" The car was blowing all kinds of smoke and leaking oil the size of a melon daily!  He said "100% not the head gasket!"  Such a lazy, lying slob!!

i found out later that he uses stolen parts, he takes weeks just to look at one little thing.  He never answers his phone and is constantly breaking them with this temper!! He had no clue and kept lying just so i would spend more and more.. this is what happens when you really trust someone...Its funny how weeks later when i picked up my car (with a blown head gasket, among many other things) it was stolen!  WOW...someone had the key for a while!!  Beware of where you take your car...no matter what you hear.  This is not a company, its a lazy slob who has a garage with a cell phone. I should have known when he only took cash and his place is disgusting. How can people like him sleep at night?

Stay away from these LIARS!!  Blaming the tow truck! you people are a joke. Is that why you are getting sued for $650.000...Why did you charge me $600.00 for the hardware/software that cost you $400.00.  The vehicle was not assembled incorrectly until your place touched it! The car had to be towed out of there because it wouldn't run. My insurance company is still waiting for their money and it was proven that your business created the damage. You did not "Win" ANYTHING from the Attorney Generals office. The case was dropped because I had no invoice since you refused to give me one.  The only reason why the car was signed off was because you wouldn't let the tow truck take it until I signed. Quit twisting words. Your place is crap and everyone I talk to knows it. Why don't you go back to Autralia..Oh Yeah! they are after you there too!!!!  The car has since been tuned by Tom Sewell and he is what you call a tuner!!!!

customer was a huge problem

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, June 24, 2013

This customer claims for damages that were caused by their tow truck driver and try'd scamming us and their insurance company, the complaint was taken to the governor generals office for which we won, Customer was also asked many times to take the car away as we did not want to work on this veicle as it was incorrectly assmebled, we also did cylinder head repairs on this vehicle and the customer never paid for this, when the customer collected the vehicle they signed off on it, I will admit that one of my techs had a issue with the front wheel and that he was then fired from his position with us and we paid for the repairs to be done to the vehicle for which they were completed before giving this car back to the client.
