Readersmart - Nationwide Reader Service is a SCAM ...DO NOT buy magazine subscriptions for them...I AM FINALLY ALMOST DONE PAYING THEM Southington Connecticut
When my husband started college...he signed up with a kid selling magazine subscriptions door-to-door. He had no idea what he signed up for. Back in 2001-2002 he signed up to receive magazine subscriptions for $16.64 per month. Believe it or not we are still paying on this. If you do the math $16.64 X 12 months is $199.68. We have been doing this program for seven years...in seven years time if you do the math that is $199.68 X 7 = $1,397.76. Today 2-3-2009 I am making my final payment of $16.64. You can believe that a letter was sent to this business with my final payment to let them know what a scam I thought this program is.
I hope eventually thses con artists are caught and that something is done.
Word to the wise...do not buy anything from anyone selling magazine subscriptions...and if you do..please be sure you know who you are dealing with. $16.64 may not sign like a lot but over time you can do alot with that little amount of money.
