Realty Consultants Of Prescott Negligent Property Management Practices Prescott Arizona
We own a rental property in Prescott, AZ. RCOP - Realty Consultants of Prescott INC. was managing it for us until we acknoledged their gross negligent practice.
After having the property empty since October 1st, 2007. RCOP reported to us that the place was in perfect condition and that they were showing the house to prospective tenants without any success. We enquired about the condition of the property more than four times since it got empty and their answer was always the same lie.
They told us that the property was being advertised on rentals.com but the property was never to be found on rentals.com. We we called them asking for the rentals.com ad number and they placed the ad right away without pictures. When I enquired about the pictures Faith (the manager) said that something must be wrong with rentals.com and that she posted the pictures.
We realized something was wrong with our management, when we lowered our rental price to the point we were the cheapest property in Prescott and we didn't get any applications on it.
We ended up having to fire them and hiring another property management service in the area. The new property management went to our property and found the reason why it wasn't renting. The place is destroyed with holes in every wall, appliances dirty, torn carpets, broken closet doors, walls were never painted and many other problems.
Now we know why they couldn't place pictures of our house on rentals.com.
