Complaint Review: Rebath Or Re-Bath Of Travis County - Austin Texas

    My name is Brad Kemp. I am the Owner of ReBath of Travis County. In 2008, 2 reviews were posted about our company from a Paul Williams, and Mr. Osgood. At that time, we rebutted the reviews. If you are reading this, you can scroll down and read the rebuttal from Bryan Kemp, another owner at that time.

     Due to our suspicions about these reviews (see rebuttal) and the defamation of our company's practice, customer service, and integrity, our company and corporate office conducted a thorough investigation on these reviews. It was since determined that 99% of the negative reviews throughout the internet, not just on ripoffreport.com, came from the same IP address. That IP address was owned by a competitor of ours. "Paul Williams" or Mr. "Osgood" is NOT the name of our competitor, it is the name of our competitor's family member and it was used on many posts throughout the internet.

We do approximately 400 bathrooms a year, therefore, sometimes there are unhappy customers but we strive to satisfy them in every way possible.  We strive for 100% perfection on every job, but sometimes there is the 1% of installations that don't run 100% smooth.  However, because of our integrity, we always work with our customers to resolve any issues that may arise.

Our company will NEVER resort to posting negative reviews about our competitors in order to steer consumers our way.
 Our integrity, customer service, Lifetime Warranty on the product AS WELL as our installation, workmanship, and desire to leave every home with a satisfied customer is how we are successful.... not posting malicious and false reports about competitors. I STRONGLY encourage anyone to call us and we will be happy to provide the phone numbers to thousands of our satisfied customers. We will also be happy to give you numbers of customers whose installation had issues, and speak to them about how our company worked diligently to resolve those issues.
     
       To all of our customers: I appreciate what sites like these provide for the consumer. However, it is unfortunate that competitors can get onto these website and maliciously post false comments about any company. I have given my email address, and would like anyone who does have an issue with ReBath of Travis County to contact me personally.

This is another response to Graham Campbell's "complaint" about ReBath. I just contacted Crawford Electric Supply in Austin and spoke the the branch manager at the number that Graham lists at the bottom of his complaint. Graham has never worked at Crawford Electric Supply nor has ReBath of Travis County ever been in contact with him. We have no records of who this person is, nor have we ever met this person. This is an obvious attempt to post false complaints about ReBath of Travis County. Obviously, the person posting the complaint is another competitor who is stooping to a very low level in an attempt to make ReBath look bad. My name is Bryan Kemp, owner of ReBath of Travis County, and my phone number is 512-836-7200. Please call me if you have any questions or concerns with ReBath and I will be more than happy to address any issues. Customers are our #1 priority, and I feel that all of our actual customers would vouch for that. I have an unlimited list of satisfied customer references that I will be more than happy to give to anyone asking. I am very proud to say that we will never post false or malicious comments about anyone. We take great pride in our honesty and integrity. Graham, I'm sorry if times are tough for you right now. However, please do not take your frustrations out on us. I would never do this to you, so please do not do this to me. However, I will continue to file rebuttals for each time you decide to post a false accusation. Please, if you are going to give your name and phone number, at least make it your real one so we may discuss any complaints or issues you have with us.

I also had these guys out just last month before I found this website. I found what they say is true. I have ran Crawford Electric Supply in Austin for over thirty years and I hate it when I find a contractor like these guys. They hold themselves out to be plumbers but they dont have a plumbers license!!!!! It just makes it tough for the honest guy to make a living when there are people like these out there. It has been over a month since I posted my original posting regarding a disgruntled customer that posted information about ReBath of Travis County. I have not heard from Paul, who claims to have had a negative experience with us. Paul Williams has never contacted ReBath of Travis County for our free in-home consultation. We have also never installed a ReBath system for Paul Williams. We keep a very detailed customer database. Paul Williams is the customer making these claims about my company. He has posted claims all over the web about my company as well as other ReBath companies. Paul, I encourage you to contact me if you sincerely do have an issue with ReBath. I would love to speak to you. My number is 512-836-7200. You have not contacted me thus far. Again, I appreciate what sites like these provide for consumers. However, anyone can log into these sites to post malicious content about a company. ReBath offers the latest and greatest products to our customers at a fraction of the cost of traditional remodeling. Unfortunately, our competitors do not like the fact that we stand behind our product 100%. We have a lifetime warranty on our product as well as our installation. I sincerely apologize on behalf of my company for the experience you had with ReBath of Travis County. This is not the way we conduct business. I would really like to speak with both of you personally about the issue you had with my company so that I can speak to my staff to train and educate them so this does not happen to future prospective customers. Mr. W, unfortunately, I cannot find anywhere in any of our databases where my company has ever visited you for a sales appointment. Is it possible we may have you under a different name? It is very suspicious to me that you also have posting about ReBath of California and ReBath of North Texas on yelp.com and on this site as well. In the article you wrote about my company, you say that our product is overpriced and undervalued. However, on yelp.com, you say how great ReBath of California is and that Randy and his crew did a great job on your bathroom out there. That posting is dated 11/9/08. You posted the comment about my company on 11/8/08. You also posted a derogatory comment about ReBath of North Texas as well. The reason this is a little suspicious is that if you have had dealings with ReBath of California and ReBath of North Texas, wouldn't you have know a little about our price and our product before you contacted us? I encourage anyone who is reading this posting to search for Paul Williams on those sites and you will see that Paul Williams has had encounters with more than one ReBath. I apologize if you have had a bad experience with ReBath in the past. However, every ReBath franchise is independently owned and operated. Mr. O, I'm assuming by reading your posting that you have purchased a ReBath System. I must also assume that it was for your home that was not in Lake Travis. We have never sold nor installed a ReBath System in Lake Travis. I would really like to speak to you about your bathroom installation. However, if you do not contact me with your name, I cannot help. If you cannot verify this information, I can only assume this is one of my competitors who cannot compete with ReBath and has to rely on these type of postings to get any type of advantage over ReBath. They work on the idea that there is a fool born every minute because they would never get a referral from anyone. They should be ashamed of themselves, but that would mean they have a conscience, trust us, they have repeatedly shown us they do not. They do have a lot of people's money they have traded for a crappy low quality product, and apparently that drives them to continue to screw anyone they can. But if that is all they have, and a sleazy work ethic, why not take it as far as they can. It's not like it going to hurt their reputation, they'll just lie some more. Avoid this company and the scams they perpetrate on unsuspecting and trusting citizens. We learned the hard way Re-Bath will most likely screw you if you decide to use them.
