On December 18, 2011 I won a EBAY auction from Recovery Seeker for the amount of $2500.  When I contacted the seller to make arrangements to pick up my machine, I was told that they would have to make arrangements with the CO-OP that they were selling the machine for.  From Dec 2011 - Feb 2012 we were in contact with the seller VIA email and telephone dozens of times trying to schedule the pickup of our machine.

The excuses I got were:

1.  We needed permission to get on site and that they were working on it.

2.  They could not get in contact with the point person at the CO-OP facility and they she would not return any of their calls or emails.  Although after I found out that they sold the machine I owned 3 months after paying for it, I was able to make contact with the CO-OP point person the 1st time I called.

3.  The CO-OP employee inc charge of granting me permission quit and they needed to hire another employee to give me permission to get on site to pick up my item.

3 months goes by and I am told by Recovery Seeker that the CO-OP sold my Glove Testing Machine and they would refund my money.

This cost me personally THOUSANDS of dollars because:

1.  The president of my company and myself invested countless hours trying to schedule a time to pick up my machine.

2.  We were building a new facility at the time.  Because of the size of this machine, and the specific needs required to install such a machine, we delayed the construction of our facility for months.

3.  We designed the new facility around this machine.  We now have a facility that is designed around a machine we do not own.

4.  We had the opportunity to buy another used unit, which is rare, however we did not purchase the unit because we thought we were receiving the unit we purchased from recovery seeker.

5.  We still need a additional machine, but now may have to purchase a new unit at the cost of around $80,000 - $100,000.

After contacting several people involved in this transaction I have discovered the following:

1.  Recovery Seeker never had permission to sell the machine as a individual unit, the CO-OP wanted to sell the unit as a lot with 3 other related pieces.

2.  We made a offer on the additional pieces after the purchase of the initial machine in Dec 2011 however the CO-OP was never told about our offer.

3.  My contact at Recovery Seekers manager never new that their was any problems with the transaction however has only contacted me once after we asked for a specific explanation about why our machine, that we owned had been sold.

4.  We have been waiting 2 weeks for the VP of Recovery Seeker / Pacific Exchange Group to contact us, however this has not happened.

5.  They connivently waited until I could not leave negative feedback on EBAY to tell me my machine that I paid in full for 3 months ago had been sold.

I want to make clear that I was refunded my money after the machine had been sold.  If this was a mistake on the part of Recovery Seeker I would have been fine with it.  However, 3-months of lies VIA telephone and EMail is not a mistake, its fraud.

Think twice before doing business with this company.  We paid greatly and I hope that no new potential customers will be put in a similar situation like ours!!!
