Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I ordered a refurbished wii console from a web site called refurbishedwiis.com. They charged me $19.99 and it has been since August 15th and I haven't received anything yet. When I try to call the 800 number they would automatically route the call to a voice mail. I tried leaving messages with my phone number and they never bothered to call me back. I also went on the website and it use to give you a place where you could check the status of your order with an order number and it always had a status of "no status available".

I am very upset now even more because the website has been removed and there is no way of contacting the company at all. My kids gave me their own money for this and they are so upset that when ever we go home from school they run to the mail to see if it has arrived.

It has been two and a half months and I really think this company is a scam. Maybe if they had called me back I would have felt like they were trying to process all the orders and there were just a lot so it was taking longer than expected. Now I see there are lots of other angry people that have gotten their money taken from this bad business. It wouldn't be so bad except my kids were really wanting this and we can't afford to pay full price for this game. And twenty dollars might not be a lot of money for some...but it is a whole lot to my little kids.

Please help track down this company and make them either give us back our money or give us the wii like I ordered. Thank you.

As you may have seen on this site, this and other scammers have been very successful with the "Wii for $20" scam. You're not likely to see your $20 again. Consider yourself lucky, a lot of folks on this site have been scammed for much more. You bought yourself a learning experience, and I suggest you pass it on to your kids. If I offered to sell you a half million dollar refurbished Ferrari for a few thousand bucks, you would be suspicious wouldn't you? Same goes for someone selling a $350 game console for $20. It's just too good to be true. At the heart of every scam of this type, there's a victim that wanted to get something for nothing, or almost nothing.
