This company stole my money $2800 !!!!
I searched for a 1999 Mercedes E300 turbo diesel engine and this company contacted my with their offering.
A 1999 E300 TD motor with a reported 48K miles. I asked many questions and was assured that this was a good motor that was tested prior to them pulling it from the car.

I paid my money and waited, and waited , and waited. no engine . I called many times and finally I was told it had not left the warehouse yet, but it will soon. I waited for another week and finally recieved a tracking number.

I tracked the shipment and when it came up delivered I called the company where it was meant to be delivered to and they said there was no delivery of an engine. I was confused as the tracking showed it was signed for and delivered.

Then I recieved a phone call from a business down the road asking if I had ordered an engine. Regions had sent it to the wrong business but had put my phone number on a scrap of paper in the shipping package.

When I picked up the engine I noted some damage that I took pictures of and contacted regions auto about.

I was informed that all the damage i reported was to accessories and were to be removed and replaced with parts from my old engine. I explained that the damage to the engine was quite bad and wanted to return it. They said just the head and block was warranted. they told me the engine was test run prior to being removed from the vehicle so the damage must have happened after that. the harmonic balancer was bent, the water pump was cracked all around it. the oil pan had a crack about 5 inches long in it, the fan mount was jammed against the engine, the valve cover was cracked.  the glow plugs had been removed and replaced and one was held in with plumbers tape. the threads in the HEAD were stripped. this is not all that was broken or bent but you get the idea.

If the motor was test run then this damage was done after the engine was removed. I have tried to contact regions auto parts on a number of occasions They first said I was past my 30 day warranty, until I informed them that there is a 90day warranty on an engine per their website. then they kept saying that only the head and block are warranted
I tried to explain that the thread  for the glow plug was stripped and that is the head. they insisted that I needed to change the glow plugs as they are a non warranty item.

I explained a number of times that the issue was in the head, it was like talking to a brick wall.

They stopped replying to my emails until I contacted the BBB in Florida. then I recieved a response, but once again they didn't get the issue. Now some time has passed and they stopped replying again. it is apparent these thieves are not going to reply or refund my money.

they told me I would have to pay for return shipping as well as a restock fee.so I am out for shipping both ways plus restock of a piece of scrap that should never have been sold in the first place.

Once again they have stopped replying to my emails. I am in washington and they are in florida, They are taking advantage of people and should be put out of business.
