DOMAIN NAMES STOLEN RegisterFree & Votiv Systems
I have purchase over 30 domain names from various providers. One
night I bought 6 names (april 27th.2000) from RegisterFree and paid for them to Votive Systems with my credit card. I have all of the paperwork to verify my story.
I checked with Network Solutions on May 2,2000 on the WHO IS search, and found that 2 of my names were given to another company on May 2nd. I get no satisfaction from RegisterFree except that they offer me 2 FREE names and a credit from Votiv Systems. In contacting Network Solutions they double talk me with computer talk. So I went to ICANN. They will take my case for $2500, or they will send me to an arbitrator for $750. I cannot understand how technically this can happen. I've reported this story to Senator John Mccanns office and he has forwarded my paper work to Janet Reno, ICANN and the Federal Trade Commission. No reply's yet.
