Routine - Food 10/06/2010
Violations: 13 CRITICAL
2 NON Critical
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. In general, critical violations are those that, if not corrected, are more likely to contribute directly to food contamination, illness or environmental damage. Although we use the industry-standard term "critical", varying degrees of severity and potential risk to the public require inspectors to assess each situation in determining the appropriate action. In addition, while an establishment may have multiple violations, the inspectors' training and judgment formulate the overall result of the inspection to ensure the public health and safety. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

I actually noticed your post on another site and have doing some searching found this. I think it's good that you went out and posted about this place, so many people do not do this and we constantly get stuck with bad service. You can see I went through something similar at Relax Bar, but not nearly as bad as you. Good luck! I have to agree with the gentleman that wrote this msg. While his msg was very descriptive, I can say I have as well have had a bad experience at this place. I am not 100% positive, but I would have to say that the guy he speaks of is the same one that had an attitude with our party when we had a complaint over food. I guess this is their mentality. In part of the msg from whomever wrote that response you can clearly see that this company thinks they are above their customer(s). "Some establishments have the mentality of the "customer is right no matter what'." then he sais "And to everyone that read this complaint, please do not let the ignorance by this gentelman influence your choice of restaurants" This is how they speak to customers? Plus in the post above the response from the bar, it states an owner cursed at the client? I went their once, and it was a mistake. The initiator of this post clearly went more than once, and for that I am sorry. This place changed names once, and will do so again with service like that. The pretentious tone of the second message shows that they will be starving themselves in this economy, and I hope that is the case. Thumbs up to the first poster & thumbs down to this bar!
