consumers warning warning, Reliant Energy online bill payment service sucks!!!> I have 2 accounts with them one account was paid no problem. second account they say that the bank could not find my account yet i used the same account that i used for the forst bill they stated the payment was returned unpaid and they charged me there fine $25 returned payment fee. emailed customer services several times each time they blame me stating that they had the wrong bank account details but my bank account details are saved in my profile. on checking it of course the corect account number is stated so is the correct routing number. anyone else had the same problem.

Call into Reliant Energy main headquarters #.. 713-497-3000. Ask for Joel Staff's secretary. He is the CEO of Reliant Energy.. Under new company policy, the receptionist is required to transfer the call to his secretary. The secretary will send you over to an escalated representative who is responsible for communicating back to the CEO is working out these problems.. When you get this representative, advise them of the situation and state "I would like to file a claim." They should give you a fax # to fax a copy of a bank statement for review by the claims group, which is part of the legal department.. Dont get worried.. They have done this many times, and they will easily cut you a check for those monies.. Dont give up though..
