Relocation & Storage (also has A TON of aliases I'm learning) out of Dallas, TX picked up all of my and my now 4.5 month of daughter's possessions on 4/24/06 and STILL has not delivered them (it's 7/2/06).

The group of thugs that picked up my stuff just drove off once they finished loading my stuff and never gave me a list of what they took, a delivery date, NOTHING.

Since I'm a single mom and my daughter was 9 weeks old at the time, I couldn't go running after them.

I gave the company 30 days to deliver my things or contact me before I started TRYING to contact them. For the first couple of weeks the two times I actually got someone to pick up the phone after being on hold for 30-45 mins, I was told my stuff was safe in storage in Dallas awaiting another load heading to my area (northeast). OK, I accepted that for a week.

I continued to call everyday, COUNTLESS times a day for weeks after this and NO ONE ever answers or returns any of the countless messages I've left. There has been one woman, Christina, that has actually answered and tried to help me (although I'm now thinking it's all just been to try to keep my quiet/complacent) on two occasions. But, since 6/20, I've not had anyone answer a call nor return a message.

I've been told 3 different delivery dates so far, 6/4-6/5 which never happened, on 6/9 I was told my stuff was going out on the next hauler's truck to come in and I'd have it in 7-10 days from 6/9...of course, nothing. Then on 6/20, when my mother got someone (Christina) on the phone (yeah, I've had to recruit family members to help me call because I'm not sure if they are screening me out) we asked for the address where my stuff was being stored so that I could hire another company to come pick up my belongings and deliver them (and option Christina/the company offered on 6/9 if I didn't want to wait the 7-10 days they told me...also said they'd refund all my money/deposit so far since it had been taking so long).

Well, they wouldn't give her the address because they said that "Mark", the guy that picked my stuff up, had already loaded my stuff on his truck and was headed here and that my stuff would be delivered by the end of the month (which was June).

Well, of course 6/30 came and went. We started calling NUMEROUS times a day on 6/28-6/30 to find out when it would be here...of course, no one answered OR returned any of our messages (which we left every time we called). It's now 7/2 and still nothing. It was 10 weeks ago tomorrow that my stuff was basically stolen from me.

I was supposed to move into my house, which I've been paying a mortgage on, last month, but of course I can't since I have NOTHING other than a suitcase worth of possessions and I've had to buy/replace things so that my daughter has the things she needs and have also had to purchase clothes so that I can try to get a job/go to work.

I've filed a complaint with FCSMA and will be speaking to the TX DOT tomorrow. I'll also be contacting the AG in MA and TX to see what courses of action I need to take. This is ridiculous that companies can and do get away with things like this!

Please let me know if you have any further information about this company or any of the numerous ones affiliated with it or Daniel Bruce's name.

If you haven't yet, please call the Texas Attorney General and file a report. It is important to document each and every one of R&S's misdeeds.

I just wanted to update this report. My stuff FINALLY did arrive today, July 6. I'm thankful that it is here once and for all, but I'm still upset that it took 10.5 weeks to come. From a quick glance, I believe I received all or most of my possessions and the furniture, TVs, and mattress look to be in decent condition (just a little dusty/dirty from being in storage for 2.5 months). I would not recommend this company to anyone considering the length of time it took my stuff to get here AND the total lack of customer service in terms of NEVER returning phone calls, etc. I will say that the gentlemen that brought my stuff were polite. I'm just glad my daughter FINALLY has her clothes and toys!

TX AG should be first call

Relocation & Storage et.al. is becoming very well known. If you Google them with the name "R & S Relocation & Storage" in quotes, you'll find all sorts of connections and listing of their aliases. The Texas Attorney General should be your first call. I think they can do more for you than the MA AG can.
