Shame on you guys! I was acting on behalf of my friend who is 85 years old. She lost her husband a few weeks ago and with him a good bunch of income. She just couldn't afford her mortgage payments anymore. The lender was OK to deal with, but such modifications take some time. While all the necessary papers have been filed with the lender and she was waiting to hear about her ellegibillity for a loan modification, she was contacted from the Remedy Center. She thought they are acting on behalf of the lender, but this is just not true.
Since late payments are public record, Remedy Center found out that she's behind with her payments and contacted her. They are not working with any lender. They wanted all info again and promissed to get back to her within 24 hours to tell, for what kind of loan modification program she is elligible. They sure did got back to her asking her for about $3,500 for their services. I then contacted the lender. They checked Remedy Centers website and confirmed they have not ordered ANYONE to contact my friend.
The bank told me again, that a loan modification is a government backed program and NOBODY is supposed tp pay a dime for this modifiactaion. Don't work with them. Although they are pretty good on the phone telling you that only a small percentage of people have been successfull to deal directly with thier lender, this is not true. Banks will work with you. Be patient. Don't fall for these guys!! And for you guys: Again - shame on you!! You are targeting people who really cannot afford to loose any money. I hope someone will stop this company!!

We tried to speak with the only Andrew D. Weiss with the California State Bar Association. The only address he has listed with the State Bar is: 26459 Rancho Pky., Lake Forest, Ca 92630 This is only a mail drop and not an office. We were unable to find him there. This location is located between Newport Beach and Aliso Viejo where he is rumored to run other businesses in loan modification, bankruptcy and debt relief. We have tried to contact him by phone and via email and have received no responce.

When you view the build ing with armed gards and a bunch of ex con weight lifters walking around out front smoking pot you know something is up. There are no names of any businesses anywhere to be found on the property. Who owns this building?
