This company was hired to perform web design and marketing work for us.  We paid them tens of thousands of dollars to perform this work.  They completed our website and hosted it for us.  They failed to produce on any aspects as they committed to with social media and marketing.  When we terminated our agreement and demanded a refund they seized our website, shut down our email systems, and offered us none of our product.  This should be a criminal act.

This was a complete ripoff!  Doug and Simon stole about $20,000 from us and kept a product that we paid for.  We are trying to recover funds and will be reaching out to the district attorney.

Do not use Remixed or either of these people!!!!!!

RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

We are presently in the process of getting this review expunged, as it is slanderous and rife with misinformation. It should be mentioned the reviewer, Mr. Aaron Thomas Guess, has been arrested numerous times, including while REMIXED was retained [http://jail.com/arrest-records/aaron-guess-7149365], which later explained why he was not responding to us in a timely fashion. His word should not be trusted. REMIXED performed as contracted, and we have the paper trail to prove it. Moreover, the total amount for which we were contracted and paid totaled $10,970, not over $20K. If there was any semblance of truth to his review, he would have filed suit against us long ago. After all, this wouldn't be his first time attempting to avoid payment, he walked away from over $144K in liabilities only a couple years ago [http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2012-07-29/business/os-cfb-bankruptcies-0730-20120729_1_creditors-reorganization-and-protection-verizon-wireless]. Mr. Guess presumably ran out of money, once again, and could no longer afford our services. So, he decided to cancel his contract without notice. We attempted to be sympathetic and not enforce the cancellation policy. Instead, we gave him 30 days to transfer his website and all assets we had created for his company. Weeks later, a vendor he contracted contacted us via email about transferring his website. We explained the terms, which were based on the standard rate to complete the work. We never got a response. When the time lapsed, we simply removed the DNS record from our server. Mr. Guess thought it appropriate to harass and cyberstalk one of the agency owners, until he finally contacted and figuratively chewed off the ear of our attorney.
