I called the number from the sign as I needed some roof repair work done as I had bees removed from the eve of my home, which left a hole in the roof. JD Scott and another young man came to my home Wednesday 4/6/16 to evaluate my issue. While there he brought up possible hail damage and had his guy look over my roof. He advised that I should file a claim with my homeowners insurance. We discussed options for temporarily fixing the hole. One way being the $299 repair where they would add plywood, tar paper, and shingles to cover the hole. Or Two, build up that area to match the rest of the roof best as possible as there are a total of three layers on the roof; which would cost about $1000. His guy placed a tarp over the hole as rain was in the immediate forecast. We did not set a time or date or confirm a plan for work to be done only that I would contact my insurance company. I filed a claim that evening on line. The next morning I received a call from a lady at . She asked if I had talked to myRemodelingDr.com insurance. I told her I completed form online but not talked with anyone; that I would let them know when I did. A few hours later I called my insurance company and they confirmed receipt of my claim and stated it would be two or three days for an adjuster to contact me. That evening JD called me wanting to come by and bring a contact and get the money. Red Flags went up for me so I stalled and told him I was unavailable. On 4/8/16 he sent a text saying he was going to send a guy by to frame down the tarp as the weather was to turn bad. I responded saying I was unavailable again. He became pushy trying to nail me down to meet him or for me to just leave the money hid. This all made me really question doing business with him as the text messages just kept going on even after I told him I wasn't comfortable signing a contract or putting money up without talking to my insurance yet. I did not respond to his last message on Friday night. I received a text message from him today wanting to come by and get the $299 for the work

they had done. I asked "work done" he immediately got aggressive and began to threaten and intimidate me in to paying him. Threatening a lien and even forcible foreclosure. He even went as far as threatening to tell my neighbors I wouldn't pay him. I have kept all of these text messages.

No problem, I'll send one of my guys by to tack the frame because it's going to rain. If you would just leave the money hid and tell me where you put it.  That way you don't have to be there. Also we will be there when adjuster is there.

Sorry JD but I think that is jumping the gun.  I am not in a position to put upfront money or sign a contract of any kind before even talking to my insurance.

Not sure yet which way we're going with that yet (patching with no build up the $299, as you said building it up would be closer to a $1000).

Thanks, I appreciate that.  But if the insurance doesn't pan out I cant do the $1000 right now.  I will keep my fingers crossed and will let you know as soon as I hear from them.

We will work it out I'm not going to leave a hole up there . We can temporary fix it cheaper. Just take care of the bill tomorrow and we can help any way  needed . We know as long as we do that we will earn your business long term

Yes as stated on sign 299 for roof repairs. Ma'am we don't put tarps on house just for the **** of it. I told you multiple times while standing there and  through text I charged 299 for that service. However I will deduct that off any other service performed. We talked about that several times. I've been asked are you paying in cash or check. You stated cash, I stated I'll come back and get the cash.

Putting a tarp up as a courtesy is not considered "work done".  And if it is then I will be more than happy to pay you through a civil court proceeding because I would love to hear you explain "work done" to a judge.

No problem the burdens on you I clearly stated through text I was charging you to 299 you never disputed it until now no problem keep your 299 you clearly need it more than I do. I will file a lien on the property and it'll be up to you to hire an attorney and fight it so simple as that expect get a pee-lien notice in about 10 days. if you decide to pay it before the 10 days let me know I'll send somebody by there to get it if not no problem. and by the way I don't have to explain **** to nobody I can charge what I want to charge I told you before I perform the work what I charged. I'm well-versed in how to deal with this. Good luck to you

Unfortunately for you the lien amount will not be 299 we both know after other fees are added on it's going to be three times that amount. I'm an honest man and do an honest day's work you're not going to rip me off and get away with it. And you still doing your yard and complained about your neighbor not  paying the tree guy you know what they call people that do that right

And you can forget any type of home equity loan on that property as soon as I file this pre lien notice all transactions will come to a screeching halt matter fact I'm going to file that immediately knowing that you are seeking to take out that loan you're not ripping me off it's the principle it's not the money

I hope that it is obviuous to the average consumer how this company handels business.  I am in no way shape form of fashion any type of drug user (never have) and am appauled that a "professional/ company" would say such sladerous remarks on an a public internet site.

This lady was a scam artists from the start. We aren't real sure where the so called copy of the text came from, but they are about half true, and only paints part of the picture. Either way it was clear her and her son was on some type of speed drug. SHE was way out there!!!! After 12 years I'm very proud of our history in the Community. PAY YOUR BILLS LADY, EVERYONE ELSE HAS TOO!
