Rendered Services Inc. North Breaks the law and tows from public property where they are not authorized Chicago, Illinois
Rendered Services Inc. towed my car from an alley in the City of Chicago, despite not having authorization to tow vehicles from public property. Not only did they tow it, but they told me and indicated it on the receipt that they patrol this alley!
There is a "No Parking" sign in the alley with the City of Chicago marked on the sign, but this company is towing and acting on behalf of the city. I put my emergency flashers on and left the car for less than five minutes so I could bring bags of groceries up to my apartment and when I came back down to park my car, it was gone.
They took my car back to their tow yard and when I went to pick it up, my battery was dead because my flashers were on the entire time it was in the lot.
