RENEWABLE AUTO CARE PHILLIP ALLEN, AGENT "out of business per agent in State of California have to sue them for refund of premium Dept of Ins. won't help" Internet
I purchased an extended warranty from the husband of a friend of mine who was an agent for the company in 2009 at a premium of over $2,000.00. When I tried to file a claim for covered repairs, no contact number was available and they denied that I had coverage which did not expire until 2014. Now I have no repairs covered and I'm out the $2,000.00. The former agent advised me to sue them as there was no recourse through the Dept. of Insurance for the State of California. This company is just a den of thieves and no one should ever do business with them. I have heard that they operate out of state so it will be impossible to sue them and even if you win in small claims court, impossible to collect the premium paid. SOL
