Rentwave Refund ripoff Santa Monica California
I have sent Rentwave.com a refund request on May 16, 2005. I spoke to a man there that same day and he said for me to forward a copy of my rental agreement to the "Refund Dept".
He told me it will only take 3 business days to process my refund. To this day, May 26th, nothing has come in the mail. I've attempted to contact them a few times but each time I would call, the number has been disconnected. They have definitely ripped me off the refund due to me. Forty dollars is a big amount especially with today's gas prices here in California.
To everyone out there looking for a place to start out with, please, check first with the Better Business Bureau or the FBI concerning to see if anyone has filed a complaint against a certain company/website. Scam artists are so subtle, they sound too good to be true.
