I worked at Ressler Motors for one and a half years in their collision center. ressler motors company handbook says that they encourage growth within the company well that is a lie. When I was working for them I would ask lots of questions to try and learn all that I could so that I could be an asset to the company. When ever I would try and watch what someone was doing or ask a question they would just ignore me and walk away. I would try and go talk to the Human Resources manager about this and she would d noting, I thought that her job was to enforce the company policies that are in their handbook.

]As for dave payne the manager of the bodyshop he would only talk to me when he wanted me to do something, or when something was wrong. He is as worthless as t**s on a bore.

]Dave Pettersen one of the estimators that works in resslers collision center Talked to me like I was some kind of dog to be ordered around and trearted like dirt.

]No matter who I talked to manager wise from one of the human resources manager to one of the owners nobody wanted to correct the issues with how the managers treat their employees. I am not the first one to quit for the way that. I was being treated. I would not let even my worst enemy apply for a job at ressler motors.

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

You know what, Ressler is a horrible place to work, I worked there for 4 years and was a happy, dependable employee, I really planned on it being my last job. I remember a big company meeting we had after a couple rounds of layoffs back when the economy took a turn back in 2008. At the meeting, the general Manager, Chris Nelson, assured all of us that there would be no more lay offs that year. 2 days later I am pulled into the office and told that I am being laid off along with at least one other person. I know many other employees where pretty angry when I was laid off, because management lied. Early in 2009 even more layoffs happened.

The thing is, Until I got away from that place I didn't realize just how bad it was. I was salary so they could legally work me more then 8 hours a day and they also didn't like when I started to take lunches away from the dealership. I was starting to make myself sick and didn't know it until I got out of that situation. Even though looseing that job was devestating at the time it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. It got me into a place that actually cares for its employees and I also started my own small business. We also moved to a place we have wanted to go for many years.I don't think that would have happened if I was still at ressler so it really was a blessing in disguise. Not sure how management is now but I believe many of the key players are still in place so my guess is it still sucks.
