I was contacted in early 2003 about investing in this company with the promise it would start trading on the stock market with-in six months.Like a fool I sent them $10,000 dollars for 10,000 shares in this company.Well it is Janurary 2006 and I just recieved a letter from them that they are going out of business, (figures).
I made numerous calls to John Harkola,Company Co-founder, Chairman of the Board, and CEO of RDC International, over the course of of 3 years. His reply was always pretty much the same (apparently he has a short memory span and tells same story each time) we are waiting on the SEC to get our paper work done and we will begin trading.
Here is a list of companies associated with (so called partners) Retrieval Dynamics. Before I list I want to say shame on you for being associated with them and I hope they didn't make broken promises to you as well.
GMAC Realestate, Nextel, T-Mobile, Verizon, Blackberry, Compac, Cingular, Errisson, Motorola, Casio, Sprint, Nokia, AT&T, Microsoft, Open Wave.
As you can see one would think that a company with this kind of partners would be a great investment. Personally I feel most would make this investment, but think again when it sounds so good even with partners like these named, you can be ripped big time.
Actually I am thinking they are changing (maybe the name) things around so they want have to honor all the origional investors so called shares that total over 2 million plus shares. Seems a lot of people got ripped huh? At a dollar per share.
I wonder if Retrieval Dynamics or and of these listed companies might feel that I am owed something for my investment?????? and of course it was money I couldn't afford to lose. Actually I borrowed it against my home, that is how sure I was that this was a winner. Guess I am an IDIOT. huh?
