Rev's Remodeling Dan Holous He took $6000.00 from my 88 year old mother to renovate a rental property did 2% of the work, quit and kept the money.
He took $6000.00 from my 88 year old mother to a complete renovation on a rental property she owns. He showed up so little, 2 days in about a month, that my brother had his lawyer send him a letter threatening leagal action. That got us 1 more day of some really poor workmanship. Because we confronted him about the quality of his work on that last day, he text my brother Joe commented that he was cancelling our contract and that there would be no refund.
For $6000 he knocked out the wall between 2 closets which was supposed to be converted to a half bath, and put up a 7 foot wall in an entry foyer for a closet. The wall was not straight, the door he put in it was not square or plum in the opening. Nothing he did installing the door was correct.
I've seen postings of projects he was supposed to have done on his facebook page and they look marvelous. I have trouble believing that he did any of that work though judging by the really poor quality of the work that we got from him.

I met Dan Holous (aka Rev), on the day he showed up to start the job my mom hired him for. She gave him a check for the deposit that he required ($6000) and we left him to continue his work, .....we thought. Almost as soon as we left so did he, to cash the check and quit working for the day.
His claim that he wasn't given materials to work with is also completely false. All the material he had requested was either in the house he was supposed to be working on or in the storage shed there on the property. My brother had a lawyer send Rev a letter threatening legal action because of his failure to do the work he had been contracted for.
He showed up for 1 additional day after the letter but threw a hissy fit in an email to my brother and informed him that "He" was cancelling our contract and that there would be no refund. The reason for the fit he threw was because we dared question his workmanship when we caught him not taping the joints on the dryway of a small wall he had put up and the poor installation of a door that he put through that wall.
The door was installed out of plum, he had screwed the hinges to the suface of the door and frame( didn't cut the hinges into the door or frame), and no door jam on hinge side of door. I have pictures if Rev wants to dispute any of this. If you're looking for a crook to do some very low quality work for you let me be the first to recommend Rev's Remodeling!

First off let me set the record straight . I did not rip anyone off . One can not do a job if there is no supplies for one to do it with . Second I took the time to drive an hour and a half to work and there was no material there . Again Joe was told up teen times to have materials there . I even left a materials list for him and sent it to him via text. I stand by all my work 100% . Everything on our page is and has been done by me . When I write up contracts I do a deposit. Deposits are to hold your spot and allows me reassurance that you want me to do the work . If you decide not to use me after contact is signed . You loose your deposit unless otherwise stated. . For small companies this would put us out of business if we did this . I personally don’t book jobs that overlap each other. I do one then the next .
