I feel so dumb. I always thought that such a thing can not happen to me. But apparently, it could and next time I won't be so arrogant. I saw all the posts about this rip off, so I won't repeat all the stuff.

In summary, this italian looking guy was looking for directions to the airport, he said he was returning from a fashion show. You've read all the details. He needs the money, he is going to get taxed so he needs to get rid of all the stuff. It didn't make much sense, and I tried to back out. But the guy was very convincing and not pushy. He was also trying to be very friendly in a convincing genuine way. He gave a wonderful performance. I was convinced that it was all true and was happy that I made a good deal. It just shows that when you get too greedy you can loose your senses.

Anyway, I gave the guy $460 dollars, and I don't earn that much. The amazing thing in this prank is that there is not that much misinformation. You see the jackets, you like them, you buy them. The key lie here is that he claims that they are worth a thousand dollars each, which is total bs. How dumb of me to believe it.

Anyway, I am a little shocked, and I hope he gets caught and gets what he deserves. But I can see how it would be tough to prove any wrongdoing here - I wonder if coaxing people into buying things is criminal. Perhaps misinforming them of the market price is... I don't know. But I hope something bad happens to these a**holes.
