This company cold called me and talked me into spiffing up my web site. After many phone calls and answering my questions, I was satisfied. I paid them $149.95 setup fee (which they say 10% goes to charity). I am a web page designer myself but I hired these guys because they had some incredibly nice looking graphics to make my old site look very professional.
They did the work right away. They must have seen the other complaint.
I was very satisfied with the look of my new website. This was not the issue. The issue was that I could not access my files directly. They have no capability (ie tool, FTP) for customers to upload or download files. After trying to find a solution with them, we eventually concluded that I was not going to be able to do file transfers. So I said that I wanted my money back. My argument to them was that the sales guy told me that I would have full control. This proved to be untrue. No problem just refund me. Beware this company does not give refunds on their setup charges!
The problem is that they use a simple tool to make websites based on templates. They touch up pictures and place them nicely. But when it comes more sophisticated work, they really can't do it. And when you cancel, they keep the website they did for you. You are kind of stuck with them if you want to keep your website that they did for you.
