I am curious about what you would be wasting your time on. The statement above is accurate and if you are working here there is a lot of ways they can improve to make the job worth it.

Let me start by saying that those who haven't worked for RIBI or in the Security field should please keep thier opionions to themselves. These reviews should help those looking for a job make a good decision when applying.
sithlord0076 review is valid and true.
I am currently an employee of RIBI so I am, for obvious reasons, not going to give specific details. Currently I have around 30 years of working experience in various fields and with copanies both large and small so believe me when I tell you that RIBI has lots of room for improvement.
Here are some of the items that I've never seen a decent company do and are in my opinon just plain wrong:
1. New employees are not paid for orientation;
2. We are required to pay a weekly uniform deosit;
3. We pay a service fee for weekly direct deposit and a postage fee to have statements/schedules mailed;
4. Full-time workers recieve no benifits- except 5 measley vation days after 1 year of service;
6 Little to no training - only the bare minimum of on-site training by your fellow guard and if he/she isn't a great trainer you pay the price;
7. No ( and I mean no) or little communication from the company except when your being scolded for something;
8. No reviews/raises or opportunites for advancement.
If you just want a pay check work for RIBI but if you want a career of to work for a decent company seek employment elsewere.

How can you sit on your computer and complain about a security job being in a bad area. You seem naive and inexperienced and somewhat racist. It is a job like any other that you obviously could not follow. It is your own poor judgement when you say
" RIBI provides no training and the sites they choose are the most creepiest places you will ever see. The site I worked at was about run down, if a light when out it was never replaced despite what safety protocols it jeopardized. Most of the rooms where empty and had been empty for over 15 years and unsafe for anyone to be alone in. And I swear that site was haunted. When on duty the dispatch to check in with were rude and felt like I was bothering them. When a field manager did show up, it was in a car that looked like it was bought for $1000 and had car issues. They never really spoke much, all they did was take the tour probe and left, no replacement tour probe was left! "
that you were in a bad area. Of course!!! That is probably why they need security there. I could go on for a while on what you wrote here but I would just be wasting my time. Have a good one! Good luck with whatever career you are in now.
