Having some fun today... Drivers went on strike in the Bronx and in Rego Park. Sorry about that Citimedical but we have to do what we need to do. Then again are they in Kahoots with Ride Medical.

Today was also a big day in dealing with having this guy put in Jail.

Contacted the NYS Workmans Comp Fraud division in Albany. They are very interested in what is going on with Ross Barr and all his companies. They also contacted the NYS Attorney Generals office and i am in the proccess of putting material together that they want from me and all info i can gather.

It is a vicious circle that starts with the workmans comp patients needing ride in which they call companies to service them then they call drivers to preform such services.

From there workmans comp than pays such companies and those companies should then pay the drivers......

But with Ross Barrs companies the buck stops with him and nobody gets paid.

So this is my new job, doing everything i can to get workmans comp to hold all checks due them.

My next step is to speak to a family member who works for the Daily New Newspaper in NYC.

They eat this stuff up and hopefully we can spread the word thru the media so Barr can no longer take advantage of anymore people.

Today we also have him on a recording saying to the Rego park Manager Adrianne forget about the drivers we will get new ones. Plus we have a former employee of Ride Medical who got fired because she questioned the way thing are done in the office. She too is willing to help and talk to anyone that will listen.

Big day tomorrow,,, speaking again with NYS Attorney Generals office and Workmans comp. I am committed to nail this guy.

Here is what you can do to fight back:

#1.  File a claim with the California Department of Labor Standards for unpaid wages:

dir.ca.gov/dlse/dlseWagesAndHours.html

#2.  You were not an "Independent Contractor."  You were an employee.  The IC claim is a lie.  File a tax fraud report with the California Employment Development Department.  There's a hotline but filing the on-line form is best:

askedd.edd.ca.gov/frmFraudStart.htm

#3.  If you suspect Workers Compensation Insurance fraud, let the authorities know!

insurance.ca.gov/0300-fraud/0100-fraud-division-overview/0500-fraud-division-programs/workers-comp-fraud/

 Good luck!

Please do what you can, I worked for them for 4 months and same story. Last year they were known as "Patient Care Transport". There are many of us that have driven for them as PCT before they switched their name to Ride Medical. I cant believe ross and whoever else he is working with is still able to do this for a whole year after hundreds of us drivers have already been f*ked... drivers have been getting the judgement but that doesnt mean they are getting paid by ross even after he loses... good luck
