I was forwarded to this website after one of my friends called me to tell me when they found my previous employeer on here. Unfortunatly, the author of the post, whether it is all 100% true or not, is correct. I do not know about mr.wyton but I do know about some of the other claims. Rightway AUTOmotive credit is an orginization that basically attempts to cover up what they truly do. The company is NOT a finance company, they are NOT loan specialists or consultants as they would like people to believe. In fact, they are nothing more then a glorified used car lot. Rightway DOES use private money from gateway in michigan to fund about 75%-90% of the deals that are approved out of that location. Why do I say this? Well, if a person is trying to obtain a car loan from a "loan consultant", they can go to that orginization and get a check for an amount of money to be used at any car dealership. Rightway policy is for you to purchase one of their OWN cars. Hmmmmm? Interesting. If they were "loan consultants" they could give you a loan and you couls use it anywhere. Sounds like buy here pay here on crack. BHPH gets people in financial prison, and so does rightway. Charging someone 29.9% interest on a 2 thousand dollar car is amazing. BUT then they say things like, "well I have to bump the price a bit because I have ALL of these cars looked at and maintained because I put a warrenty on all of them and free oil changes" as an excuse when you ask why you are paying 5 grand OVER kelly blue book retail value for the car. Bulls*it again. They use a local mechanic and half the time they dont even fully inspect all of the cars with there "70 point" saftey inspection. Right way use to use AAMCO in villa park for their inspections. But when AAMCO actually WANTED to repair what was wrong with the s**t boxes and fix them, rightway broke ties with AAMCO and started to use a mechanic who has a garage in the back alley of rightway. They get people in there that CAN NOT buy a car anywhere else, then when they sell them on the hope and idea that now they will have a car, they lay out the paperwork with the ungodly numbers on it. When they train their employees they tell them to NEVER talk about price of the car and to NEVER discuss interest rates until the paperwork has started to get signed. Then in the middle of the deal if you want to back out they throw their hands up and take the paperwork back and say, "fine, but how are you going to get a good car loan someday if you dont take one out now to rebuild your credit". Please, someone should give those guys a napolean hill book and teach them how to CORRECTLY use a takeaway sales method. It is true that if you take out a loan over 5 grand or open a line of credit and make good on the payments it will help your score, however, gateway only reports the payments after 6 months of the account being opened. By that time the piece of junk car you bought has already fallen apart and you're screwed. Do the salesmen lie to your face? I have seen sumerous examples to say yes. Did I? you bet your butt. Why? Because it is a 100% commision job. No salary. Why wouldn't they lie to you to sell you a car? That's how they survive. For example, we had, lets just say an SUV. I think it was a 2003 with somewhere around 48K miles on it. We owned the truck for around 13 grand. We sold it for over 24 thousand and the salesperson made a 2 thousand dollar commision on it. Nuts. Would you pay more money for a used truck when you could pay less and get a BRAND NEW ONE? The sad thing is that the guy had decent credit and could have gotten a loan PLENTY of places. I remember a time when myself and another employee who I am not sure if he is still there were "tag teaming" a customer. We were working together to try and sell a car deal. Well the customer asked a question that if the motor blew up and the car was under warrenty how he would get around while it was being fixed. We both told him that our company would glady pay for the rental but not to worry because that would never happen. Ok, they don't pay for the rental. They "reimburse" you through an outsorced company. I do not know about the story of the 300C. WHen I worked there we didn't have cars like that. I did recently drive by the lot a month ago and saw some cars similar to a 300 type car. But then there are the beaters they call "gateway" cars. If you don't think this guy is telling the truth or my information is false try this: Go into their car lot and fill out a credit app and whatnot. But before you do that ask them the price of a car. I bet you a million bucks they will say, "I have no idea. I don't own any of these cars here. A bank or banks do. They don't give me a list of cars with prices on them. I don't sell cars. I get people loans." Bull**it. They have a list of their inventory updated weekly with prices. And they OWn the cars. But the prices are what THEY paid for the cars from THE AUCTION where they get their cars from. Most of the cars they buy for less then 3 grand (most are around 2 grand) and they sell them for anywhere in between 10-14 grand. Don't believe me? Like I said, go in there and fill out a credit app. Pick out a car and pretend as though you want to buy it. They will spend an hour or so sometimes less printing the paperwork. Ask to see the SALES CONTRACT. They probably will stall you and tell you the price is the last thing they go over. When you see the numbers you will be shocked EVEN IF YOU HAVE GOOD CREDIT. No as for unethical practices? You bet your a**. I personally remember MANY times when a customer would come in on a weekend or whenever and was basically smarter then the people who worked there. Someone who WASN'T going to pay 29.9% and 8 grand more then the car is worth. So they would leave, and what would the guys at rightway AUTO do? They would go back into the computer system (ADP dealertrack) and run the hell out of the persons credit so they got turned down by almost every lender and had a million inquiries on there credit report. If you don't believe any of this then good. I hope you don't, but walk in to rightway (should be called wrong way) and test out what I've told you. I promise you that you will come on this site and report the truth as well. I know that I personally couldn't sleep at night anymore knowing what I was doing.

First of all I feel that this is a great forum for consumers to post "Real" and "Truthful" complaints for other consumers to view. This posting was sent to me by a friend who came across it on the net. As I read this complaint the first thing that came to mind is that we haven't had a white 300C at this location. Then as I read further I felt obligated to further explore this complaint only to find that there is a possibility albiet probability that the person who wrote this was a previous employee of this organization who had "issues" with Mark Wyton and has taken the time to abuse this forum. Here is the REAL DEAL on Rightway Auto CREDIT.(Note the name of the company) This company's guaranteed approval program is for high risk borrowers. There are more than enough Dealers offering "best price". We offer credit loans that report to credit agencies for a growing portion of the population who have had credit issues and cannot get credit through normal channels. Credit loans that when paid on time will help improve credit ratings of those who opt to take advantage of them.
