I ordered a set of rims and tires through an ad found in Lowrider magazine on April 19,2010. I was told to send the money via Western Union quick collect. I went to US Bank and sent $800.00 via western union. I was told by Fred to call him right after sending the money to confirm payment. I called him after sending it and was given an order # of 1192. Then I was told to call back on Wed April 21st for a tracking number. Called back on April 21st and was told to call back on Thur April 22nd because they did not have the tracking number yet. Called back Thur and they still did not have a number and told me to call back Fri April 23rd. I called on April 23rd and was told to call back after 6 but there was no answer. Called Sat and was told that UPS was not open to get a tracking number so to call back on Mon April 26th. Called for number. They said to call back after 5 pacific time. He was very short with me. I called back at specified time and he said to
call back in a half an hour. Called back and there was no answer. Then I found a rip off report online for this business and the website for this business shows account suspended. (www.rimsforlessca.com)

we ALL need to contact the Southern California District Attorney, Fraud Division. 619-557-5610. They will investigate the case, and since there is obvious fraud, should have no problem proving it. This is our best chance at getting any money back and holding them accountable. It may take a while, but at least there's hope we can do SOMETHING.

I had a birthday in March 2010 and I wanted to get some rims for my birthday. I was currently in Afghanistan doing a deployment. April 2, 2010- I ordered some 26's for $1850. I knew I had alot off time before I was to come home so I ordered them and waited. I talked to Ed and he sounded like a good guy and since the listing was in the lowrider magazine. I thought it was legit, but I kept getting excuses on shipping and no tracking number! WTF! look I do what I'm suppose to do to protect these type of people and saved that money. I was so happy that I ordered them. Around May 15th I talked to a Jeff who said he fired Ed and he was handling my order. By the next week, I couldn't getahold of anyone. Loosing that money took a big hit and now I have to try to save again. It's truly not fair! We don't deserve this!!!!!! If someone reads this and knows how I may slve this issue or atleast get my money back please let me know. Here is my email to reply back- (((ROR redacted))) and I still haven't got my birthday gift because of this. Don't be a victim to stuff like this, think twice next time. If it's to good to be true, then it isn't........

Update: Still no rims, no tracking number, and no refund. I spoke to Ed from Rims 4 Less a couple weeks ago and was told that the order will be cancelled and a check issued within a week. Well what do you know, nothing yet. I have contacted a local news station that investigates and tries to help get people's money back but so far no response on that either. I have also contacted my attorney on this issue and we will be pursuing this matter until it is resolved. Please if anyone in Wisconsin has been scammed by this company, write up a rebuttal to this. All you need are at least 3 people in your state to make this a State case where the state will get involved.
