Risk Management Partners - MMG ripoff is dishonest a scam and hasn't fullfilled any of their obligations Irving Texas
I've been a member of this company for almost 2 years now. I have invested almost all my savings into my "trust account" with them so they could process settling some of my debts. To this day they have not settled a single debt of mine and I have around $6,000.00 in the account with them. This is just about the total amount that they told me I would need to put in with them to settle ALL my debts eventually. They have not settled a single one. I have called them repeatedly and there is no answer on their phones. They only respond back to my emails whenever they feel like it (maybe once a month and a few weeks after the orignal email is sent). My creditors have also attempted to unsuccessfully get a hold of someone at the company, but have complained to me that this phone # is fake and nobody is answering, so they are going to give up and take me to court.
I was recently served with a court order in the State of New York (my previous state of residence) and there was a tax lien filed against me in the amount of $5,800.00. Coincidentally, this was filed against me by a creditor that RiskMP/MMG was supposed to have power of attorney with. This creditor also tried to settle with me for $3000.00 via telephone several months ago, but I could not give them the funds because RiskMP has all my money in the trust account. I told them to contact someone at RiskMP regarding this matter because I am no longer in control of this account. Now the tax lien was successfully filed against me by this creditor and I don't know what to do.
I immediately request for a refund from this company upon learning this and now I am waiting for the paperwork to process my cancellation. I'm sick and tired of this company and their repeated lies to me and other customers of theirs. I'm scared that I might not get a refund in time to have this tax lien removed. Honestly, I don't know what to do right now other than just wait for a refund. This company is a SCAM and has caused me nothing but trouble of the last year. I want my money back ASAP!!!
