Risk Management Partners Fraudulent debt recovery they just took $6000 of mine and ran. They don't answer the phone or email. Carson City Nevada
I contracted MMG, a subsidiary of Risk Management Partners ? 2533 North Carson St. Suite 4937, Carson City, Nevada 89706 and began a debt negotiations relationship after they eased my concerns by sharing their good BBB status. On October 3, 2005, articles flooded the news that MMG was taking people's money, not negotiating their debt, and not returning their funds.
I called and emailed and received no response. Finally I got a brief email from (Pres.) Hyla Stanton claiming that would handle the return of my money. I have not received any more responses. No one returns calls, or picks up the phone. The A.G. AZ. shut down their operation. AZ citizens received their money back. Because I am a CA citizen they can't help me. I do not know what else to do.
With over $5,000 in a settlement account, they haven't settled any accounts. I followed though on every piece of MMG direction and kept up with their payment schedule in order to climb out of debt. My credit was great; now it is shot. I received no proof that MMG has done any legitimate negotiating under the initial advertised and promised terms.
In short, they have accumulated $5,569 of my money under false pretense. They said I could withdraw my funds from my account at any time; yet they do not return any messages or calls when I wish to do so. They led me to believe that I was getting out of debt, now I have my original debt plus interest and awful credit.
