I was supposed to be his partner in the car cover. Great idea and he was supposed to order the covers from china with my investment.  His way of contacting me was dgebeth was at the ayahoo grocery store looking to find this individual. Both Rob and his wife, Lisa are scam artists. They befriend you only to gain your confidence and then scam and rob you blind.

They have been doing this for years to friends and neighbors. Once they have used all the people around them, suddenly they move and claim they are being evicted, or are waiting on funds, just some sob story given to evoke empathy so you wont chase after them for what is rightfully yours

My story started when I first moved to Florida and Rob used my being a single parent and uninvolved female as his way into my life. My first encounter was when I went into the hospital and the Lambs offered to watch my children. My daughter was holding $500 for me, I asked Rob to take it from her so she wouldn't lose it and then just before I was released Rob informed me that he used MY money without asking to pay his electric bill because it was going to be turned off. Never did he pay me back. The second time was he actually asked to borrow money and I willing gave it due to our friendship. Once again it was never repaid.

The final encounter with Rob and Lisa was the most devastating incident. It started with one of Rob's so called inventions. He showed everyone he knew the prototype, marketing and advertising plans. While all this was going on, once again Rob and his family got evicted from their home for non payment of rent($10,000). Rob asked me if I could loan him the $10,000 so that he could get their possessions, since the landlord had everything they owned. Rob knew I had inheirited money, but I explained it wasn't readily available. After past experiences I certainly wasn't going to hand it over. Then Rob realized that my truck was debt free and asked if I would be willing to let him use it as collateral for a loan so that he could pay the landlord and he stated that he would pay off the loan in 3 months, as he was waiting for funds to be released from overseas regarding his so called invention. I stated that I wasn't willing to tie up my vehicle with a lien when I made sure it was debt free by paying cash for it when I bought it brand new. I also stated that I couldn't find my title hoping that would end the discussion. That was the last conversation regarding my truck until one morning at 9AM I found Rob standing in my bedroom, (my kids let him in the house)telling me to get dressed that we were going to the Department of Motor Vehicles to get a new title. I went along with it only because I knew that it would be impossible to get a new one. I am from NY and it takes 3 months to get a duplicate title, so imagine my surprise when in Florida they issue duplicates on the spot. Now what was I going to do? Rob promised and assured me that the loan would be repaid in 3 months. I should have known something was wrong when I learned that the loan was not going to be in Robs name but his mothers name, Judy. This was due to his poor credit. To protect myself or at least what I thought would protect me I had both Judy and Rob sign a promissory note in the event he defaulted. Well 3 months came and went and excuse after excuse the loan never got paid off. Instead Rob begged me and used our friendship as a tool to disuade me from complaining. I felt that as long as the payments were being automically deducted from his mothers account I felt secure about the loan. Month after month went by with no issues and then it turned into years. At this time I decided to force the issue of paying off the loan or seeking the removal of my truck as collateral. I changed my insurance on my vehicle knowing that the bank would seek the proper coverage and charge Robs mother the additional monies. It increased the payment by approximately $200 monthly. Rob complained and I told him I had been more than patient and he needed to resolve this immediately. Rob insisted that it was being taken care of. One evening there was a knock on my door and to my surprise it was the repossesor. They were coming for my truck for non payment. It turns out that a payment hadn't been made on the loan in 3 months. While the repo company was sympathetic to my plight there was nothing they could do. They did allow me some time to resolve this matter. Rob started to make excuse after excuse to stall. Then Rob avoided all my calls.

Finally one day I decided to just go to his house and confront him and imagine my surprise when I arrived and found it empty! They had moved in the middle of the night. I went to neighbors that I knew were friends of Rob and Lisa and found out that they had been borrowing money from everyone. One neighbor lent them $50,000 under the guise of buying stock shares. I called Rob when I saw the empty house and expressed my surprise and he became indignant with me. He refused to give me his new address. At this point I became frantic because the bank wanted my truck and Rob never had any intentions to remedy this situation. I spoke to other friends only to find out that Rob had been in prison in California(where he is originally from) for money laundering. That's when I started to search Rob and Lisa's name through all public records in Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinella counties. I found out that they had numerous judgements and evictions against them. After seeing this I knew I would never see any resolution. I then decided I needed to hide my truck so the bank wouldn't get it in hopes of convincing the bank I was a victim of a scam. A few months went by without a problem until one day I came out at work to find my truck had been repossessed.  

It has been years since my truck was repossessed. I was so angry for a long time but I decided I couldn't let it consume me any longer. I wasn't able to replace my truck. Finances had become difficult for me. I no longer had a vehicle. I needed to move on. I believe in karma. Rob and Lisa Lamb will get their just rewards for all they have done to others. I feel bad for their children. How ashamed they must feel to have parents like theirs.

While I have had many difficulties since then, I have survived and will continue to do so!
