Robert Scott, YouOwn.Net Robert Scott withdrawn money out of my account with out authorization, and $1.95 for no services rendered. BeverlyHills, California
I am a single mother, I work many hours in one week to support my two children and to find that I had the option of paying someone a minimum of $1.95 for a list of homes that are available to "rent-to-own" seemed impossible to resist. I inquired information and read about his services.
After several letters from Robert Scott and reviewing his planning, I then purchased the $1.95 in hopes to NOW view the homes available in this area. To this day, I haven't been able to not only view the listing, I've not been able to contact Rob Scott, either.
I have sent out several e-mails with no reply in regards to my dismay, and realized that there is not a good contact number listed for him, as well. It seems like he sends out automated emails, unpersonalized.
Not one time has he replied to one of my emails. This morning, I got on line to manage my bank account, to find that he has now charged me $60.00. For what? I cannot even view the homes...he is OBVIOUSLY not legit.
Theft of services is one thing, I cannot stand that, but taking another $60.00 on top of that has me writing Ripoff Report. He has been told to refund me immediately, both with the $1.95 and the $60.00 via email upon today's date, as my last and final attempt to contact him.
I informed the bank and due to this misfortune, they are cancelling my debit card...and promised a new card with in 7 days. This is the only way they can insure this will not happen again, I assume.
How can this man get away with this? My account is now negative due to his transaction, naturally, with a surcharge from the bank I am paying far more than $1.95. He must be stopped!*
