Robert's Cottages vacation rental on the beach DIRTY, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, GET TREATED LIKE A CHILD, OLD, WORN OUT, RUDE, FAKE, Internet
My wife has been after me since last summer to write this report and now I am doing it. This place look great and friendly on the website and once we got there with our kids we found out that its not true. Our cottage was very small and was dirty when we got it. I called several times and got the attitude, Thats just the way it is, response. No follow up at all and hospitality was bad from the start to finish.
My main complaint was with the security guy they have on the property who made it his business to find something we were doing wrong every day. He was very rude and agressive with my wife and embarrassed us a few times when he would stop by to let us we were not in compliance with his rules. It made for a long week and we couldn't wait to leave. He was on us all the time and we would see him peeking at us from around the corner of other cottages. He really creeped out my wife and you feel very exposed. We lost all sense of privacy and it was NOT a carefree vacation at all. You felt like you were in lock down situation.
We usually do a week rental somewhere each summer and we will never be back to this place. If you don't mind being monitored all the time, harassed and bullied and stay in a dirty place where the main office doesnt respond, then this is the place for you.
