I'll start by saying I am a very reasonable person.  It's very rare for me to become frustrated with a service, especially if the service provider apologizes for the wrongdoing and makes an effort to make things right.

RockBottomGolf, as a company, is a complete joke.  I went online to order a golf club travel bag for my overseas vacation.  I liked that RockBottomGolf guaranteed a 2 delivery, especially since I was paying an additional $30 for shipping to assure it would arrive before my trip.  I placed the order on a Monday morning and was sure I'd receive it by end of day on Wednesday.  After placing the order, I received an email from Yahoo (the shopping cart they use) letting me know the order number- the email also let me know i could track my shipment.  However, I wasn't able to track the shipment with the number they provided, in fact, RockBottomGolf's system didn't recognizance the number for the 3 days after my order- I was never abler to track my shipment.  I tried to locate a customer service number on their website.  The number I found was a sales line- they want you to submit all customer service inquiries online.  I called the sales line anyway, nobody answered and I ended up getting a voicemail many times.

I submitted my inquiry online, just to confirm I would receive my item 2 days after my order.  I ended up getting a response (I've saved all emails) letting me know my item was actually being sent by a vendor, and RockBottomGolf couldn't guarantee a delivery date.  NOWHERE in the ordering process was I told a vendor would be shipping this item, nor was I told that if a vendor did ship the item, the 2 day guarantee would not be given.  I was misled.  Here is the response I got "If it was being sent out by us, then we could control that making sure to get it to you in the 2 days. We can not control vendors. In this case the item is being shipped from them.  We have told them to get it out asap but again we can not control them as to when they actually will ship it out." I ended up writing back and forth with the customer service agent "Scratch" roughly 8 time.  He said "sometimes unforseen circumstances do arrise, just like with anything else in life."  How was this unforeseen?  Why am I being given life lessons?  How is this being turned around on me?  The emails went back and forth, RockBottomGolf never once answered my questions about the misleading delivery guarantee, my request for a refund, who the manager there is, and more.

I ended up having to go to a local golf store to buy this item for my trip, because it did not arrive on time.  I wasted money and time, all because I was misled by a false guarantee.  The customer service is a joke.  It appears as though one person is running this entire operation, and they don;t care about the customer.  I will never do business with the company again, and I've made it my mission to inform people that this company is a rip-off.
