Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Jeff Fahrenwald, a MBA Professor, is biased and close minded. He imposes his opinions, brainwashes and humiliates students infront of the whole class. He is nothing more than a salesman who advertises other businesses during classes, barely teaches the classes, but instead makes the students present the topics that he should be teaching. If you want a MBA then please select wisely, and pick one that will be recognized nationwide with at least top ten ranking in your state, where the professors are keeping up with the times. The current rating for Rockford College is currently a C- according to several sources Please don't waste your time and money there. They don't have internships for MBAs to get jobs after graduation so if you're expecting to get a job with that degree alone, good luck.

Here is what other people are saying about this school

..I was hoping to enter their MBA program, but the program was not even accredited  by AACSB. The best thing about the college was the professors and some of the  staff, everything else was just terrible (outdated technology/horrible
facilities). In the end, I ended up with TONS of student loans (the college is not cheap) after graduation. Thanks Rockford College! Advice to future parents/students: do your homework before sending/coming to Rockford College. I
personally felt like my friends (whom transferred from Rockford College to nearby Northern Illinois University) have gotten a better educational value for going to a larger school.

The school is BORING and expensive. A crappy school should not be expensive. The education sucks.

Oct 24, 2008, 2nd Year, Male -- Class 2011

I would recommend to stay away from this school as far as possible, they project ideals that they do not hold up with. Although a liberal arts school, the campus is very very very very conservative. They tell people that they are
non-denominational, which is a load of horse s*it. I have no problem with the Christian focus on the school, but they should not advertise it as such. Like mentioned before, the club is very conservative and the administration is very
religious and picks favorites. This is not work 30 some thousand dollars a year. The administration looks negatively at clubs and organizations that do not favor or orient the Christian perspective, and essentially force the club from
existence (just the beginning) What you see on the website and portrayed by the counselors is the "ideal" which the institution does not exemplify. Stay away unless you wish to leave later on.

May 13 2001, 3rd Year Female -- Class 1999

The school is VERY small and isolated. Many in Rockford don't even know where the college is. The town is small and dumpy and run down, only things around are strip clubs and whorehouses. Mant professors only have grad. degrees. The financial aid office sucks. The students mostly feel stuck and have nowhere to go. There is nothing to do on campus except drink.

Rockford failed to prepare me for the work world

I think it is funny you or anyone else has had a problem with Rockford College. I attend this college and although it is pricy its a great college. My degree got me a job lined up WHILE I AM STILL IN SCHOOL. Maybe it is YOUR fault and not the colleges you can not get a job.. or maybe its the degree you chose.

As is this is a wonderful college, wonderful reputation that provides awesome education. The staff and people who attend are wonderful and so helpful. So anyone who has left a comment above is seriously just pissed off at their lack of skills, its not the colleges fault your an idiot.

As far as the profess goes, I do not know who he is but get over it! Lets be a cry baby because we got embarrassed in a classroom setting and you thought you'd get spoon fed a masters degree and not actually have to do work. Well doesn't it just suck you might actually have to work at life? I am honestly a little upset you were even accepted into a college.
