Rodney Yeacker Oakland County FOC Abusive, Unethical, Not Working for the Child's Best Interest!!! Pontiac Michigan
I recently had the most disturbing experience with Mr. Rodney Yeacker, Oakland County FOC Counselor. Mr. Yeacker was very abrasive, rude and could care less about what I had to say. He seemed to automatically agree with my ex. He was not doing what was in the best interest for my child. He was all about putting me, a woman, in my place. When he asked me my opinion I kindly told him what I thought. He very quickly and rudely yelled at me. Since he did not like my opinion apparently that gave him the right to lash out and put me in my place. Then what is the point of an opinion??? It makes me sick that this man makes a recommendation that is looked upon so highly. I understand that when co-parenting people need to make compromises and try to get along. I also understand that, in most cases, having both parents in the life of the child is in the child's best interest. However, I do not think a counselor who has such an obvious hatred for women should be able to counsel families! My concerns were not addressed even a little. After my appointment with Mr. Yeacker I feel this man needs to be carefully reviewed before writing any more recommendations and ruining more lives just because he thinks he can. Rodney Yeacker is a disgrace to this county. He should be ashamed for treating women as if we are nothing and deserve nothing.

Sorry to hear about your situation! I had the same type of encounter with him. My case started with a different judge and counselor in 1998 when my son was 4. They were not great, but much better than Rodney Yeaker and Judge Lisa Gorcyca! referre Patrick Cronin remained the same! They look at women and parents overall as obstacles in their jobs! I believe that Rodney hates women and must have had a bad experience in his life with a woman. He is over 6 feet tall and enjoyed looking down at me or looking the other way when I spoke.
i started out trying to deal directly with him over issues with my x husband's Parenatal Alienation (PAS) tactics and brainwashing of my son who turned 17 in 2011. In the back room of the court house with Cronin, my attorney, npmy x husband and his attorney he broke the law! After having custody of my son all those years he took custody, gave me visitation just 4 partial days a month and stopped my child support! The law states you cannot do that without an evidentiary hearing with a judge!
gorcyca, Yeaker, Cronin, and many others need to go! There is a ton of corruption and low ethics at work!

This is a one sided report so I take it with a grain of salt. What was this interview/meeting about?? Is your child in foster care? Was the child removed from your custody because of neglect/abuse? Your report is just too vague
