We regret you were left with the impression that we were trying to sell you something that wasn't needed. We attempt to make every effort to clearly explain to our customers what is wrong with their system, their options and what it takes to fix it correctly. Sometimes our technicians do recommended the option of replacing equipment due either to age, cost of repairs, poor efficiency or safety. If there is a responsible low-cost alternative, then we should provide that option. We hope that you will contact our Customer Relations Specialist, at 855-301-2206 and allow us the opportunity to resolve your concerns.

your kind of right on both parts. the company is heavy on finding and making leads for new equipment and acceories. but management does sterss quality and truthfull leads. i know most of the techs there and all are trust worthy and care mostly about solving the issue and if fixable would even fix it if you were intrested in replacing the boiler. oil is very scary for younger techs and isnt seen as much as gas now.thats why i believe you most likely got someone green and and jumped the gun. ignition transformer is very simple to diagnose and replace. i dont think he knew oil at all. as far as the service call goes their dia price was comparable to any of the larger heating companies. 84 for maintenance customers at all times and 99 day and 104 at night for non customers. unfortunatley some greener techs will condem and pass it on when they should be calling for help. this happens everyplace. all companies have their top techs and ones that are learing. it depends on which one shows at your door. and in this business it takes years to learn all the junk that out there now. downs is a co that will work on allmost any thing.
