I am a  first time user on this site. So please take this report with that in mind. I wish I had noticed this site earlier, then perhaps i wouldnt have been in this mess.

 Buyers Beware! Rooms to Go furniture can be a complete ripoff!  Back in april of 2012 i purchased nearly $8000 in furniture to furnish a newly purchased home. I decided on a new bedroom set/ matress, a kitchen table with 4 chairs for it, and a family room set.I will start off by saying the bedroom set has been great, everything has been solid and i have had 0 Issues with it since the day i got it. Problems with everything else howevor, began just days after my purchase.

 The first issue was in the kitchen.  I ordered a round table with 4 chairs. I have come to find out, that these chairs are very very cheaply designed. Being a first time buyer, i had no idea how to look for well built chairs. All 4 chairs have had issues now, 2 of them have completely detached from the seats and have been "serviced" several times. I put the "Serviced" in quotes to signify something that rooms to go calls service and something i dont agree with. They have come out 3 times i believe in the first year each time, they would put a screw in to the chair, to hold it together  but not even enough of a repair to say it was safe to sit in it. Each time they would say were gonna send someone else out for this reason or that reason, and each time no one would come. Then the cycle would begin again with me calling in to schedule another visit. I have now have 2 chairs the safe to sit in and 2 that are waiting for there first kill.

 In the family room, my set consists of a loveseat with recliners on both ends, a sofa with recliners on both ends, and a single recliner. The single recliner has been great, i have had 0 issues in it, which is odd because i am a single home owner and it gets by far the most use. On the love seat, both sides of it have had work done several times and now the sofa sits completely uneven and one of the sides, is virtually unusable because some piece of wood is broken inside making it uncomfortable. On the sofa, one of the sides will not shut. which looks terrible. On these 2, we have had several visits as well, sometimes bundled with the other chairs, each time a pice was missing and needed to be ordered, or this reason or that reason, sometiems they were fixed for a week or a month just to return to a broken state.

 That brings me to today, Today now it has been almost 2 years since i purchased the furniture, i am still actually paying for it on the no interest account i was given. I understand the one year warantee on my furniture as well. What i dont understand, is how i was jerked around for 2 years by rooms to go, so they could do anything in there power to get me outiside of that warantee so it wasnt there problem. They very clearly sold me either cheap furniture or defective furniture. Because they claim it wasnt defective, they refused to replace it and instead kept putting bandaids on it.  

 From my story, and the storys of others, i have come to the conclusion that rooms to go will never replace your furniture, no matter what kind of shape it is in under 1 year. Do not assume that you are making an investment and buying furniture that will last you several years in  your house. Mine lasted less then 2. Do not purchase an extended warrantee, all that will do is leave you our a couple bucks, and your furniture will have more bandaids on it.

 I am writing this report, to warn those that would buy furniture from rooms to go. That most likely, you are buying garbage. Unless you are a doctor of woodworking, or a master is leatherworking, i imagine it will be hard to determine the quality of the furniture youare buying. In my case, i made the mistake of assuming i was buying quality furniture.  I hope i at least help someone to not make the mistake i did.

Rooms To Go's rebutle is the same every time!! They will request order info and pictures and then nothing gets resolved!!!!
