Complaint Review: Rosann Lavallee owner of Von Der Musikstadt - Whites Creek Tennessee

Re:  Damiana Von Der Musikstadt AKC # WS31136903

On 10/12/09, via Delta Airlines, we picked up the puppy, Damiana,  that we purchased from Rosann Lavallee owner of Von Der Musikstadt Rottweiler (formally known as Ambassedor Rottweilers).  The litter was not registered with the AKC in her name; it was registered in the name of Brandon Bentley.  Why register the litter in someone elses name?  What is this person trying to hide? 

Damiana, a little over nine weeks old was emaciated, aggressive, and fearful.  The health certificated stated that the Damiana was sick with increased bacteria in her stool.  When we got the puppy the crate had urine and faeces in it.   So by sending Damiana she put the other animals and people on the plane at risk; also my family and other pets I currently own.  But on her website Rosann claims she will send you a healthy puppy, but that isnt what I received.  When we talked to Rosann about this she said everything was fine and that its normal. 

We call the veterinarian that did Damianas health certificate, Pleasant View Animal Hospital 2525 Highway 49 East, Pleasant View, TN 37146, phone number 615-746-4070 and they told us that the puppy's weight on 10/7/09 was 7.5 lbs.  A female rottweiler at nine weeks of age should weight anywhere from 18-20lbs.  How could a veterinarian not see a problem with a rottweiler at a weight of 7.5lbs?

A side from the obvious malnutrition we later learned from Tonya Downs of Von Der Brunhilde Rottweiler that Rosanns kennels were filthy and the puppies were left in the basement, which has mold, the whole time she had them except for the two times she took them out to take pictures and make a video.  Its obvious by the puppy behavior because the puppy went into the crate to relieve herself and almost every time we put her in the crate she urinated and defecated in there because while with Rosann the puppy wasnt taken out and learn to relieve herself where she slept. 

When Rosann was confronted she told us to send the puppy back to her and she would refund the money when she had another litter because she had no money at the time.  After the condition I received my Damiana I couldnt live with myself if I sent the puppy back to her.  So I dropped it and left Rosann alone and just loved my Damiana.

Then on 04-27-10 Damiana went to the vet to have her back legs checked because she was having problems, she would cry and struggle to stand.  The vet examined her and just by touching her legs know she had severe hip dysplasia.  To confirm on 04-29-10 Damiana went back to the vet for x-rays and it was confirmed she has severe heredity hip dysplasia.  When we told Rosann about the hip dysplasia she told us that she wasnt going to do anything and to stop harassing her.

We recently learned from numerous people that Rosann knew Lexa Fur Immer Treu never passed on hips and bred her anyway.  We asked Rosann for a copy of Lexas hip paperwork and after a little research knew the paperwork she sent us was a fake.  We also found information on the AKC registration paperwork to be false, so we have a fraudulent set of registration papers as well. 

Also Rosann has had dogs in poor health in her care in the past, dogs that were severely underweight and had large sores on them.  The dogs then had to be removed from her property by the breeders she got them from because of their conditions.

We currently have a complaint in with the AKC about her and hoping she will lose the right to register dogs with them but we are still waiting to hear from the AKC.  All of the supporting documentation will be posted as well for everyone to view. 

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Please no one purchase from her and get the word out Rosann Lavallee need to be stopped.  She claims to be ethical breeder but that isnt the case she does no health checks on the dogs and doesnt care for the puppies when they are born.  All she does is breed for her own financial gain.  Rosann claims she will send you a show quality puppy with guaranteed health but that isnt what you will get.  You will get a sick puppy and a lot of expensive vet bills.  Dont get lied to, scammed, and ripped off by this back yard breeder.  She doesnt love or care for her dogs she loves the money they make her!!!!!  They are just cash registers to her!!!!
