I registered my basketball travel team (Rosedale Elite) to participate in BCS hoops in a Martin Luther King tournament in New York, for January 14-15, 2017.  After speaking to Quentin Bartlett, the organizer i paid the $295 tournament fee.  From the begining the event was poorly organized.  I kept contacting them for information, they never reached out to me.  I was told the event was taking place at Sheephead Bay HS.  but i received an email from another organizer inviting us to participate in their event at Sheepshead Bay on the same weekend.  Again, i contacted them and then was told the event was cancelled and will be rescheduled for the following week. 

Needless to that date came and the event was cancelled again.  I was told i would receive a refund.  I was looking for a credit on my credit card, since i paid by credit card.  After several weeks of calling and texting, i was told they mailed it.   Still all the communication is on my side, even though Quentin said he's keep me informed.   I call and text about every other day... and all i could get was "the check is in the mail".  At this point, we are at March 13, 2017, this must be the slowest mail in history.   So, I'm still waiting for my refund.  I hate to slander any business so i was hesitant to write, but this seems like a honest misunderstanding and they aren't trying to fix it.
