Roto Rooter "that's the name"!
RotoRooter failed on 3 occasions to properly service our home. What we were unaware of was that our basement had been backing up with raw sewage. We have no use of our basement for going on 4 to 6 weeks now.RotoRooter management lost our business for not being a stand up company. I liked the plumber very much and understand mistakes happen. It was how management handled our crisis. My roommate spent 5 days in the hospital on oxygen, very sick from asthmatic attack. All of us became sick with flu like symptoms and developed rashes among other exposure symptoms.
We asked RotoRooter simply to cover the out-of-pocket deductable of $1000 that we incurred as we did and still do believe they caused this flood.
Management was lacking and/or absent to customer service in today’s business. Our crisis was small to such a large business that relies partly on word of mouth. My mouth has been giving them the business alright!
I have told many people in my community what happened and by whom.
Management told me regular maintenance would have prevented this. I replied funny, you have been our provider and told us you did the main line. We now know the main line was in the bathroom so the tech from last year could not have done it from the wash room!
Non the less, very dissatisfied. Obtained a second opinion from ServiceOne verifying our suspicions’ yet RotoRooter chose to take the hit. I fired them and hired ServiceOne.
Darn lucky my roommate is giving you a pass Sir!
Everyday I look down and my destroyed basement I tell myself I will mention it to at least one person today.
$1000 hurt us. Has it hurt you RotoRooter?

Looks like your basement was already trashed.I'm sure that this company did not cause this problem.You are just looking for someone to blame,besides yourself.Sometimes,in this line of business(------ HAPPENS)Suck it up and stop blameing someone else for your problems.
