SHADY BUSINESS ALERT: I bought a Subaru brand new in 2012. After 1.5 years of average driving use the "seat clips" that hold the cushions in place broke, and the seat covers on both the driver and passenger seats ripped. Being under warranty I brought it in and it was fixed, no questions asked.

Fast forward 1.5 years and my drivers seat tore again. The "Fix" provided by Subaru did not take. I called Roy Robinson Subaru in Marysville and they told me to bring it in so they could "look at it." I did and about 3 hours later I received a call stating that because the warranty expired they would not cover there own repair that failed, and quoted me $690 for a new cushion and seat cover.

Why would I pay almost $700 to have you fix something that you couldn't fix correctly the first time, so I can just pay you again in another 1.5 years?

When asked if they thought that 1.5 years was acceptable for a drivers seat to last the service department said "Yes." So on a brand new Subaru do not expect your seats to last, and don't expect Roy Robinson to do a thing for you. In fact they attempted to charge me $60 to tell me that I needed my seat fixed...so to clarify they expected me to pay for them to tell me, what I told them was wrong in the first place...I know I will be buying my car elsewhere next time. Learn to stand by your product and repairs Roy Robinson.

******Update: Complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau. Roy Robinson actually lied during the investigation by stating "Our business offered a discounted price but will not participate beyond this." Which is a total fabrication of the truth. Please do your research of reputable dealerships in the area before you buy, and save yourself the headache that I am currently going through.*********

No a year and a half of AVERAGE use sounds about right. YOU just dont want to PAY for it yourself!! Then you go online and bash them in a social media blackmail attempt. You DO realize that by basically LYING ONLINE in ANY WAY you will have given them ample ammo to use against you in a civil defamation action, right?? Just because YOU THINK you shouldnt have to pay for it, using whatever self entitlment that you use, doesnt mean that what YOU are doing is right in any way.
