While on vacation in Cancun, from May 8 2008 to May 15 2008, my sister and I were scammed into signing the timeshare contract with Royal Holiday (Actually, they hide under the name VACATION CLUB). Upon arrival we were accosted by the concierge and promised if we went to this 90 minute presentation at the Grand Oasis. (we were at partner hotel) .

The next morning a crazy cab driver picked us up and took us over at 830 am. They finaly broke us down at 5pm and we joined the vacation club. We at that time were excited , although a bit leary (always listen to the gut). We made them transfer us to the Grand Oasis which they reluctantly did the next day and upgraded us to VIP. we were told we'd recv the paperwork before we left..which we did..little did we know that since we were there 8 days that it would be past the 5 day cancellation agreement they claim to have. So they hold the paperwork so it's past the timeframe allotted. They had said we had 30 days to cancel if we were dissatisfied with 'the package' Not true!!!

We enjoyed our vacation immensly as they , Victor Torres and Billy (Mgr) waited on us hand and foot.

. NOT TRUE!!

Upon reviewing 'the package', which was totally different from all the promises they gave at the presentation, we tried to cancel and get our money back. TOO LATE! we were told we had to cancel before 5 days. We explained what they had done and they basically said too bad!!

In this package came the FREE vouchers that would add extra points to our plan, allowing us to travel to more expensive places. yeah right FREE it wasnt..each one came with a hefty cost of $600 ..when i called customer service..the reply was should have read teh paperwork. we of course stated we didnt have it before we left !! Too bad! call your salesperson. Okay his cell # is not valid, his emails all bounce back w some server message. we have been in contact with our "Personal Rep" at RHC's customer service department, but she refuses to help us get this cancelled

My sister put down 5000 down with payments starting this month at $260 for the next 3 yrs. She thought about just not paying it but didnt know if that could come back and bite her-especially since it was done in Mexico. We thought about selling it to some one else, until i saw this website. Thank God for angels like you guys!

HELP!!

It is always best to hire someone skilled to do so, unfortunately in most cases these companies dedicated to cancel timeshares usually cheat for the second time to their customers since they are vulnerable and desperate. If you are thinking of hiring them you just have to make sure you do not have to make any payment upfront ... I found these articles that speak precisely about this, you should read them, that might help you to resolve many doubts:

timesharescam . com / blog / 46-timeshare-cancellation-or-donation-should-not-cost-you-anything-upfront/.

timesharescam . com / blog / 158-how-to-cancel-a-timeshare/

I hope you can solve your problem, good luck!
