In October 2009, after speaking with Hugh Godman on the phone and via email, we forwarded plans for our invention. He emailed in December and were fobbed off with "our invention allocation for 2009 has been used, we will contact you in 2010". After reading of all the people who have given him money upfront, I think that we've escaped very lightly!
It is a private company and I have just found out from the ASIC website: 31/12/2009 there was Notice of Creditors Meeting to consider voluntary winding up; 27/1/2010 Copies of the minutes were sent to ASIC. Royal Ideas & Inventions is UNDER EXTERNAL ADMINISTRATION AND/OR CONTROLLER APPOINTED. ABN is 97 051 848 349; ACN 051848349.
Should we be worried that our ideas/inventions are going to be stolen and submitted by others? I presume the Confidentiality Clause that was signed isn't worth the paper it was written on? Is there any way we can get our paperwork back?
I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has approached any of the current affair shows with any success as well.Thanks and goodluck in bringing this scumbag to justice!
