Watch-out!!!

Once I placed an order with this company, they refused to send any goods till I send them copy of my credit card.

On January the 7th, I placed an order for 500 aduld DVD's. I received an instant order confirmation e-mail and the next day, my American Express Credit card was debited.

Shipment would be done by UPS Worldwide Expedited service.

I asked to confirm the UPS Trk#, but did never get any confirmation.

On January the 20th, I was still waiting!

So I wrote back, they replied that I had to send front/back copy of my Credit Card, including a bank statement by email.

I contacted immediately American Express Belgium, who clearly told me NOT to send such details, but to advise this company to contact American Express Local agency in the US and ask confirmation of all delivery details and to file an Amex Online Fraud Claim. What I did

I wrote 9 emails in 8 days, to have this company contacting Amex for addres & delivery confirmation, wich they never did.

THEY PROPOSED A 10% DISCHARGE IN EXCHANGE OF A COPY OF MY CREDIT CARD!!!

After I announced them that I filed an Online Fraud Claim they did not want to do any business anymore and reimbursed me.

I just lost a lot of time and confidence in doing online business with US based DVD wholesalecompanies.

this company tried to scam my credit card i don't think they are a legit company .their website does not work so they encourage you to phone one of the numbers provided on their website. the same site that doesn't work so i phone the number and get some i believe call centre in probably India. can't understand a word he is saying other than he wants my credit information up front. i believe that is what he is saying they are supposed to be based in the Baltimore area so i hear all kinds of chatter in the background the ones you hear on those scam calls we all get so i won't give him my credit card and he hangs up.be very careful i doubt if ROYAL ADULT VIDEO is a real business.

i have dealt with this company before and had no problems. in fact, they were very prompt in their service, gave me exactly what i wanted, and was delivered in a matter of a few days. i got a real good deal on both occasions and plan to purchase from them in the future. maybe your experience was difficult due to you being over seas. you have to take that into consideration. also, purchasing a pre-paid credit card with only the purchase amount on it would be advisable. you never know if there are scammers out there, who look legit. trust me i have been there. as far as i am concerned, this is a legit company that provides great service, prompt delivery, and certainly satisfaction guaranteed. if you would have contacted them, addressing your issue, instead of attacking them, you would still have their business.

Yes, it is true that we did not ship out any merchandise to the customer. The reason for this is that the customer was in Europe and we are located in USA and we have a Credit Card Verification process for our international cusomters due to the high rate of international credit card fraud, especially over the Internet. This is also stated on our site, that we accept credit cards with verification: http://www.royaladultvideo.com/index.asp?PageAction=Custom&ID=5 Yes, the customer did recieve an automatic invoice and the card was debited instantly because this was an e-commerce transaction. Our e-mail sales employee asked for verification for the customers credit card and they refused. We have contacted American Express before and they have never told us that we should not ask for a customer's copy of the credit card. We use this information to make sure the customer is using their own credit card and we need the recent bank statement because we need to verifiy the billing address on the card. Since this is an Internet transaction it is best for a Merchant to ship to the billing address on the card. Honestly, it was like chatting, we sent e-mails back and forth quickly, so it seems bad, but it was not, we were just communicating. We did not contact American Express because we assumed the customer was trying to do online fraud so we did not want a part of it. We did not say that we will give a 10% discount if the customer gives us his card info., we refunded his card before he told us that he filed a claim and said that if he does a Bank Wire Transfer we will give him 10% off. Actually, I can look up all of the e-mails in our database and show its contents, but we do not reveal customers information. Ofcourse, we did not want to do business with him, it seemed that he was going to online fraud with our company. Honestly, we do not need that customers business since we are already a sucessful company and have been in business for 20 years and we are a know distributor for adult products on a worldwide scale.
