RTS, Dialing USA Inc, Fly Free Travel, Ideal Wealth Builder Scamed by Careless, Perhaps Fake Companies RIPOFF Washington Utah
Around February 27th I was called by a company called "RTS." They told me I've been chosen for a $1,000 shopping spree. All I had to do was purchase trial packages from three companies, "Ideal Wealth Builder," "Dialing USA Inc," and "Fly Free Travel." They said I had 10 days to cancel and that I would receive all "packages" in the mail shortly.
About 2 weeks passed and nothing came yet. Finally, a week later, I received three seperate letters from the three aforementioned companies. Each said that "If, after considering our club for up to 10 days from the postmarked date on this letter you decide it's not for you, simply call our toll free Customer Service representative at 1800-625-9305 [different # for each company] and you won't be billed."
I panicked; I realized that it's way passed the postmarked date [feb 27] and that they must've charged me. How was I supposed to cancel before I received any information or packages about the deals? However, to my surprise, when I checked my balance, they hadn't taken any money. So I still called them to cancel incase, but no one would pick up! Two of the numbers would dial indefinetly until the line automatically closes, and one keeps me on hold for ever, I would keep listening to music and no one would ever talk to me. I called numerous times, but the samething happens every time! What was I supposed to do? Keep calling til the day I die? I just gave up after calling a few days.
Today, However, I found to my horror that they've ALL billed me, all three companies. A total of about $400!!! I am extremely angry. I tried calling to explain to them, but of course, no one picks up!
Please give me some advice as to what I should do. I can't even cancel my "memberships," and they'll keep charging me every month.
