Run Local Garage Run Local Garage is a RIP-OFF! Minneapolis Minnesota
Run Local Garage is a VERY poorly run organization! We bought two LiftMaster Universal remotes from them in December, 2012. I called to get service when one of them stopped working. A customer service rep told me that the technician for our area was on emergency family leave for two weeks. I was very patient and called back a month later and was told the same thing! There was no offer to find another technician.
In essence, I was given the cold shoulder. Fortunately, I went to the LiftMaster website and found out how to repair the remote. But, I also found out our remotes sell for $39.99 each...and we were charged $75 per remote. That's some markup! Run Local Garage has HORRENDOUS customer service and is a TOTAL RIPOFF! I don't see how they are in business. We will DEFINITELY NEVER use them again! I will be spreading the word, "Run away from Run Local Garage!" :-)
